I was Glenn Parsons Design, in the beginning for a long time, then I became astroluxdesign for a longer time.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This site was originally a sales tool, it’s no longer that. It is now a document of my history in the graphic design profession.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Influences are what I see and hear in world around me. Sometimes the other things.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I make images based on ideas.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I then illustrate the ideas in forms for application, like logos and lettering. Sometimes I design illustrations. I like to play illustrator within my limited abilities, look around the site, you can decide. Other times I just design using type, color and images.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Everything you see on the site I created from pencil concept to finished artwork with the appropriate tool needed to do it digitally and otherwise. Clients I have had a few over the years including film, music, comics, some small business and some large businesses. Some you may have heard of, others not so much. If the job is interesting, I\u2019m interested.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I design and build fonts for sale. I create ones I want to see and use. You can see them at myfonts.com my foundry name is astroluxtype<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I have done this for a very long time, I like doing it in the right circumstance. When in the wrong circumstances it\u2019s a complete drag.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Recently someone described me as \u201cfab\u201d I really liked that, it made me feel like I was in London of the 1960\u2019s, which was REALLY \u201cfab\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Located in the northwest of the USA, where there are lots of trees and water.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
